No, Jesus was not Palestinian.

It's a bizarre and offensive revisionist claim.

A big broken thing about this platform — and I get that I won't get full agreement on this — is that blocking someone blocks the visibility of their responses to your posting for EVERYONE.

This lets dishonest accounts engage in dishonest dialog, and just block if they start losing the argument.

Probably not the most important thing, but they actually did try to match the typeface for the Kennedy Center. They just got the size too small, and they made a slightly condensed version of the typeface. And they set it with wider letter spacing.

Yesterday I was watching the series Down Cemetery Road with the absurd plot point that a published photi was edited to remove someone from the photo.

And today I'm reading that a Trump/Epstein photo released by the DOJ from the has been "unreleased".

It would be hilarious if somebody hacked the Kennedy Center website to rebrand it as the Trump/Epstein Center.

It's been a hell of a week. In addition to the Bondi Beech attack, in the U.S. we also had an arson attack on a Hillel in San Francisco, and two separate attacks on Jews in New York City.

One of the disturbing aspects in researching all this was the vast number of people who themselves did their own research simply by asking some large language like Grok or Chad GPT.

Different people would post completely opposite answers from the same LLM.
MIT physics professor Nuno Loureiro was murdered last night. May his memory be for a blessing.

And now social media is having a disnfo war about whether or not he was Jewish and/or pro-Israel.

So beware of that.

I've been using Waterfox all year since Firefox shoved a stupid AI chat shortcut into my taskbar.

It's literally Firefox without the annoying stuff. Like, it's the same browser except it doesn't collect metrics on you and have AI. Install it!
A lot of people are about to find out about Waterfox
It just keeps getting worse - Firefox to "evolve into a modern AI browser "

If you know anyone who's jewish, then in addition wishing them a Happy Hanukkah tomorrow, please consider asking them asking them how they're doing.

Whether or not it is confirmed that yesterday's shootings in Australia and Rhode Island both target Jews, there's a lot of fear out there.
December 14, 2025 at 10:38 AM
Mainstream US sources have not mentioned this at all, but many on social media and some foreign news sources are saying the shooting at Bondi Beach in Australia targeted a Hanukkah party.

Where are the original "as released" photos from the House Committee Dems? I can only find reduced size copies. (Or alternatively Dems released really lo-res images?)

Advice from tech experts:

"You are better off running your own model on a private dataset, so that the content won't be stolen by corporations."

Also advice from tech experts:

"You can't run your own model, because GPUs and memory are no longer obtainable, thanks to the AI bubble."

To me the most fascinating thing about LLMs is that they are simultaneously the most transformative technology of this generation, and also a complete scam.

(And no, this is not biting sarcasm about diverging opinions. I sincerely mean this.)

Netflix sent me an email about their acquisition of Warner Bros. and how it includes HBO Max, so naturally I'm thinking I can stop paying one subscription, right?

Of course not.

These articles are night and day.

Damn. Steve Cropper. An absolute legend. One of those guitar players that all the other great guitar players aspired to be.

"Play it, Steve."

Rest in Peace.

After thinking about it, I think it comes down to this: IF it was a fumble, the player recovered his own fumble before the _ball_ went out of bounds.

It doesn't matter where his foot was if he didn't have control of the ball; it only matters where the ball was when he regained control.
As an Ohio State fan, I still acknowledge there will be debate about not reversing that touchdown.

It _might_ be technically wrong, but man if they had ruled that a fumble and touchback, all of college football would have lost their minds.

Look I don't know what the answer is, so this really isn't a spoiler, and it's almost certainly wrong... but my first thought when Carol opened that freezer door at that Agri-Jet was "Soylent Green is people." I literally said it out loud to the TV.
