Gute Besserung! Have you been to a Otorhinolaryngologist (HNO Arzt, just had to translate into English, never heard the word Otor.. before)? Having pain you can go there without an appointment, or even to any ER/ Rettungsstelle if doctor´s office is closed

Have a good recovery! Actually hearing implants are amazing high tech, microphone outside and electrodes inside, great invention from NASA engineers. Allegedly, signals from aliens can be heard with an expensive update, but so far nothing :)

I had exactly one (inner) ear infection and it killed my hearing on one ear within a few hours. Wearing a hearing implant now. So again, get better! Alles Gute!

you should take antibiotics against ear infection, it can destroy your hearing. Gute Besserung!
