That was the vibe I had for sure - I was waiting for us to be shown actual visible Pikmin by the end of the video, but that didn't happen

this whole thing is VERY STRANGE but I'm definitely interested to find out more about whatever this is!

but WHAT IS THIS??? It's most likely a project of Nintendo Pictures, Nintendo's CG animation division

but is it a promo for a new game? An AR thing? A Pikmin series?

The video has been dropped on all Nintendo channels simultaneously with no context. They've even notified all Nintendo Today users!!

It's very clearly some kind of Pikmin thing - the music is full of Pikmin musical themes, and there's an out of focus red Pikmin in the background at around 1:40

Obviously as a trans person, the fact that Labour has done more damage to trans rights than the Tories did in 14 years is shocking and awful

But now with this internet legislation which is just unpopular across the board, I really don't see Labour getting re-elected for a decade or longer

Which is so good! I feel like her voice is such a big part of Pauline's post-Odyssey characterisation, so I'm really happy it seems to be carrying over to Bananza as well!

Overall the game just looks so much better than I could've imagined!! Truly can't wait for July!

Also, I've been monitoring the video output on my TV using the passthrough feature, and it looks completely fine there. So I think if it were an issue with the HDMI cable, the passthrough would be affected too as it obviously has to go through the HDMI cable before reaching the TV

It's been widely confirmed that Elgato's devices are having problems with Switch 2 - not for everyone, but for quite a lot of people. That's why I'm pretty confident in blaming the capture card for the issue

yeah, the card is just 1080p60. The footage is coming through fine on my computer screen for the most part, so it's definitely not an HDR problem. And there's no visual glitches or noise, it's just dropping frames and the audio sounds choppy and cuts out every 20 / 30 seconds or so.
