Yes a bitter one but I’d venture that we hafta create a new level of irony adjectives to cover what’s going on in this surreal mess. I have a particular connection to this phase of insanity because my dad lived in Caracas in the 1950s. Anyhow, I’m a Campbell too so we’re related somehow.

Carried to ultimate extreme, say the red line of election cancellation gets crossed, pretty sure there’d be some form of extended national strike – bloodshed a la Minneapolis and worse a virtual certainty. Hope I’m wrong and it never comes to pass.

It’s mortifying how much they’re getting away with and the consequent chaotic ditch we are in. What’s new is that their fears are aroused and they’re sloooowly realizing that hatred/cruelty/racism/lies/propaganda delivered belligerently can only get you so far before the People rise up and say NO!
