I finally gave up. I had installed Ubuntu on my Lenovo laptop just to see if I could get used to it. And I still HATE it!

I normally just install Linux Mint on a machine and leave it at that, since I am perfectly happy. But I decided to see what I was missing with a plain Ubuntu. Not much!

Looks like this is going to be happening.

My MacBook didn't leave macOs, macOs left my MacBook.

"The latest version of macOS Big Sur compatible with a 2014 MacBook Pro is macOS 11.7.10"

This is problematic, since that came out in 2020. And things are moving on.
