It feels like a repeat of the Minecraft Vs. Terraria debate which is ironic cause Terraria is also more focused on combat, exploration, and RPG elements like Hytale and therefore both games appeal to a different audience than Minecraft.

Considering I just got off a New Super Luigi U replay, it's even more jarring to go from a difficult that I enjoy to one that just flat out gets tedious in the late game.
