Captured as part of my project photographing the dramatically changing landscape of Melbourne and its suburbs. Pretty much every building you see in this picture wasn't here just a few years ago.

Stanhill Apartments - Designed by Architect Frederick Romberg - Designed 1942, completed 1950. An inspiring design, I've always loved its staircases, the building reminds me of hospital designs of the era. This photograph is available as a limited edition print www.tryanphotos.com/melbourne-prints

This photo forms part of my project documenting Melbourne and the suburbs and its fast changing skyline. In areas, the single dwelling houses and 20th century factories and industries are fast disappearing for residential skyscrapers.
