First review for the new edition of LORDS OF NIGHT is in, and we are sitting at five stars, baby! Don't jinx it, don't jinx it, don't jinx it, lol

"So to start, I'm not going to lie, I didn't think this was going to be up my alley. But as the story kept progressing, my interest grew, until I literally finished the book on the couple hours plane ride to Jersey. It was the right blend of sci-fi/horror and dystopian, with some magical realism and I enjoyed the allegory nature and religious aspects of the beings. While being not from this world, they certainly took on the traits of those figures in many different religious cultures. But the book definitely followed the 'young hero' formula, which was ok, since it worked, but I almost wondered what it would have been like if one of the guys in the group was the secret hero all along.
Either way, this was fascinating and I did come to enjoy it immensely. Even recommended it to my partner!"

Two or three days now where we have ex-Marines with mental problems as shooters. All things being equal, the assholes who wanted to round up trans people as a threat to society should be talking about ex-Marines.

Of the two groups, one of them is *far* more dangerous. But what we'll get is silence.

…so they could check it, and they said, "yes, the fonts are embedded now, you can submit proof request." (I literally just copied that from the email.)

The file I uploaded that day is the SAME FILE that's in there right now.

Rewind to May, when I ordered the proof the first time, I dug through my emails and found an almost identical message from KDP saying the same thing. At the time, I immediately re-exported the cover and made sure to click to embed that font. I sent the file to KDP customer service…

Then I got an email out of the blue and the print proof was in my shopping cart. JOYOUS.

I ordered a proof and it was supposed to be here today. Instead, I got an email that said the font I used for the title wasn't embedded in the PDF. I said, hold up…where have I heard this before?

Recently, I've been airing my problems with KDP regarding the publishing of my first novel, LORDS OF NIGHT. The hilarity, it appears, has continued.

After cancelling the order from MAY, I was unable to replace the order due to a technical issue on KDP's part. This went on for almost two weeks.
