Exactly. The left cedes control of the narrative to the right. The right decides what we are going to talk about and terms we will use for it. The left are always on the losing side of these 'issues' because the left can't coordinate. The right knows how to take marching orders and stay on script.

It doesn't matter anymore. If it is an 'official action' POTUS is immune. If anyone tried to call him on ANYTHING, he would claim it was an official act and SCOTUS would agree 2 years later when it finally made it to them. There are no checks. He can do whatever he wants.
