Hell I'll even say that Kenshiro is the perfect guest character for this game because the venn diagram of people in the 90s who liked Fatal Fury and Fist of the North Star is a circle. This second season is exactly what the game would need if it weren't for all the other stuff they don't need.

Best case scenario, they already planned all this out before the game released and had them ready to go (which might explain why the game is getting a second season after it's poor launch). Hoping that's it and not crunch or AI... which would lead to more crunch to fix everything.

Guessing that 80% budget cut included proof readers.

Also I know I should talk smack about something I haven't seen yet but SNK now has AI Investors, we've already seen it used in previews, and they're about to put out six characters in six months. I have a bad feeling about this.
