To the best of my knowledge there aren’t ANY classical music podcasts that require a PhD to listen to them.

In a break from normal coverage: Volodymyr Zelensky, you are the hero. End of.

Stephen Hough with the Bournemouth Symphony after the premiere of his Piano Concerto. Fabulous. Hough is a national treasure. Confirmed.

Not only is Stephen Hough a brilliant pianist and a gorgeous human being, but he’s also a fabulous writer too. I cannot wait for the premiere of his piano concerto next week.

I will never tire of the quiet thrill sitting down and hearing an orchestra tune up. #abo25

Flunked out after my lunchtime jaunt to central

Spirited, self-assured musicianship from cellist Anastasia Kobekina and pianist Jean-Selim Abdelmoula in a programme of late 19th and early 20th century romantic music at @wigmore-hall - all youthful exuberance, haunting lyricism and emotional turbulence.
