They’re not responding to new evidence. If they were, they’d have never supported him. What’s changed for them is that the Trump brand, with its derangement and brazenness, is crumbling, and they now see those same qualities repurposed to cover up something that lives in their minds as “evil.”

I don’t care. The “West” is not a person or a monolithic entity. A criticism of Beijing on rights is a criticism of Beijing on rights is a criticism of Beijing on rights. The only relevant question is, is the criticism valid? Or not? Does Beijing have an answer? Give your reasons, if you can.
