A dude who does ethics and law. I have a BA in Ethics and am intending to go to Law school.
I'm also taking my former employer EB to court for ADA violations Pro Se/by myself/no lawyer and making progress. Anything helps.

Why not put a small reverse cycle heat pump on top of a drinking thermos and fill it with water. Then pump the heat in and out of the water in the thermos as a heat battery. Make a tiny personal air conditioner by freezing the thermos solid then pumping heat into it when you need it.

Chainmail layered in kevlar and the interstitial area filled with a high crack force non-Newtonian liquid. It would be as flexible as chain mail, but re-enforced by a steel skeleton. And as hard as concrete when struck. And its piercing ability thus thwarted.

Someone should start a website where you can print out pre-written letters to end contracts. Click on the company, fill out your info and it prints out a letter addressed to them with the most current address to tell them to cancel your subscription or account. Boom.

Why isn't there a switch that just cuts the engine when you open your gas cap? Prevent pump fires.

If microwaves were invented for radar, why not use multiple beams and computer to measure the density/size/shape of the food and dynamically adjust to heat it evenly?

A dishwasher that uses lidar and a hyperchlorous generator to sense dirty dishes and clean them without adding soap. That and dry steam to break down oils. Dry with an Ozone generator and UV light.
December 15, 2025 at 2:52 PM
If hyperchlorous acid is made by the electrolysis of salt water, why not make clothes that apply a small electric charge to the areas that absorb sweat. Self sanitizing clothes.
December 15, 2025 at 2:38 PM
Why do kitchens even have cabinets for dishes anymore, why not just always put them in the dishwasher. And have a little LCD display that says if it's clean or dirty as part of the door.

How about this, a dating app that only charges you once you and the other person file a joint tax return. Tax returns are public info... A joint return implies a cohabitation relationship.
December 15, 2025 at 2:16 PM
Dumb idea, why not just compress CO2 into solid blocks and throw it into outer space. Worst case scenario it ends up back in the atmosphere.

Why aren't there suspended trains over every highway, with solar panels as the roof? The power for the train is made/distributed on one conduit. And the stations are adjacent to already established entrances/exits. Less land use, and no real need to plow roads. Probably could even heat the road.
December 13, 2025 at 7:10 AM
I wonder how well a highway where every lane was its own tunnel would work traffic wise. Like there would still be mergers and junctions, but each tunnel was essentially one car width. And there was an emergency trolley/crane overhead like on a catwalk.

Why don't modern video games have more of a host and sign in style programming architecture? The top game is hosted on the company's server/super computer and the player just logs in through an interface on any device? Why is it this like, hybrid online/personal console model?

What would a planet dominating species look like on a planet with no predators? Like a planet of super herbivores? A planet where the apex species has never had an evolutionary need for physical violence or war, because there are no predators to attack them.
December 13, 2025 at 6:57 AM
Humans are a pioneer species, celestially even. We have a moral duty to spread life to every corner of the available universe. We turn raw land into a flourishing environment behind us.

If a fine powder of fissile material like U232 or higher were mixed into leaded glass at a particular ratio. Could you get the glass to always be say 212F for the halflife of the U232? A glass rod that could boil water for like idk 1200 years?
December 8, 2025 at 12:05 PM
Dude, if it could be used on a large enough scale it could be a tractor beam. On planetary sized objects it could be used as a solar catapult, use it like a gravity slingshot to whip things out of the solar system with the gravity of the sun. Like towing a rope around a snatch block. A trebuchet.

Heck, do pharmokenetic surgery. Cut apart molecules and re-combine them individually to make drugs exactly where needed, by radioscopic manipulation. Trim and patch DNA by laser actuated computer program. Return the body to an earlier biology by reverse engineering their genome and activation.
December 8, 2025 at 11:37 AM
Essentially distill individual molecules out of a massive body, one molecule at a time by radio harmonic excitement. Match the electronegative phase and frequency of a given molecule and you basically have a single molecule magnet. Attract only lead or a particular chemical or DNA.
December 8, 2025 at 11:33 AM
If this were true, any substance could be separated out of any amalgam of molecules by radioscopic sublimation, pull a particular toxin, or target a specific gene sequence. AI radar scan picks out only the cancer or toxin and boils it off at room temperature and pressure on a mass scale.
December 8, 2025 at 11:24 AM
Microwaves just heat basically only H2O and others with a similar harmonic range. By always hitting exactly the phase and frequency of water you can boil it off without raising the temperature or lowering the temperature of any object. Suppose you can do it for any molecule if you can find the combo
December 8, 2025 at 11:20 AM
Could an AI program control the radiation in a microwave specifically enough to cool things by syphoning heat off them like lasers can? Freeze things in minutes to perfectly dry by using radio waves to selectively heat and cool internal patches in an object for a perfectly even cooling?
December 8, 2025 at 11:15 AM
Attach a hydrochlous generator to a misting nozzle inside a refrigerator and then put a masticator drain on it. Now you have a self cleaning refrigerator. Every surface inside will be sanitized, dry it with ozone and then have a UV light on up until the door is opened again. Super fridge.

What if they blew viscoelastic foam (memory) into fiberglass like strands and weaft it into a rope or string? Used that to stuff pillows.
December 8, 2025 at 10:35 AM
Listening to lectures on "the cracks in the universe", strange observations that James Webb has observed. What if what we call the "Big Bang" is just a bubble popping in the Filament Ether. It would explain seeing old stars on the edge of our universe. Seeing the innards of a distant other universes
