This is un-American regardless of political affiliation. This dangerous. This is terrifying. This is an excuse to attack people for beliefs that run counter to theirs. Standing up against fascism, racism and oppression should be core principles of any American.
My gosh. After the US bombed multiple boats in the middle of the ocean, murdering people on grounds that they were allegedly "carrying drugs," the US Attorney General says "Just like we did with cartels, we're going to take the same approach, President Trump, with Antifa."

The actions of those in power here in the USA have been horrific. Around the world thousands will suffer and die due to the halting of USAID funds alone. However, perhaps the right people can use this new dark age to reimagine the future of humankind. A future that looks more like Star Trek.

I think perhaps we (all humans everywhere) should celebrate Alexei Navalny day on the anniversary of his death. This is a man that repeatedly risked and finally gave his life, in the face of almost certain defeat, to improve the lives of others. A symbol of defiance against tyranny the world over.
