I wish I could experience it for the first time again - and simultaneously think it gets better each time you watch it. reminds me of the most strangely tender moments of ITYSL in that way. I can’t stop thinking about it

it is so well done I was in the car on the way home when I kinda gasped and remembered that he isn't actually two actors. like at one point they share a cigarette. it's INCREDIBLE

I LOVED IT - and woo boy does it have me examining my own (white) lifelong consumption of Black culture. so much to learn from this incredible - and yes, fun - film and I plan to see it again and again

he’s getting as many of my dollars as possible too - and I hardly ever go to the theater. it’s that special, that incredible, that important PLUS fun, gorgeous, and - particularly That Scene - a truly transcendent experience
