I’m gonna be fair to Labour and say this is true.

We got solar panels and a battery 2 years ago and our current dual fuel bill is £100/month vs a UK average of £200 for a similar sized family.

So it’s literally cut our bills in half.
This will get massively overshadowed today and as ever the devil is in the detail, but is should be one of the best things Labour has done. It has the potential to improve the lives and finances of millions of people.

Peak Dutch politics is having five or six significant far right parties in parliament and thinking: “you know what we need? another far right party”
Geert Wilders’ PVV had 26 seats in the 150-seat parliament.
Seven of them just quit to form a breakaway party, led by Gidi Markuszower - previously arrested for carrying a gun in Amsterdam and labeled a security risk by Dutch security services

Q: What goals do you have for '26 in Congress for your agenda?

TRUMP: I have great executive orders. Like, water coming out of a sink. The water wouldn't come out. They had all sorts of restrictions. I took them off. Straws. They don't have to be paper anymore. I'd like to have all that confirmed.

Thatcher wrote in her memoirs: “I was to have many disputes with President Mitterrand in later years. But I never forgot the debt we owed him for his personal support throughout the Falklands crisis.”

Defence Secretary John Nott: “In so many ways Mitterrand and the French were our greatest allies”.
Untrue, of course. UK got lots of support, and never asked for military intervention. But it's not the South Atlantic Treaty Org. At US insistence to avoid colonial wars, NATO only covers Europe, N. America, and the Atlantic north of the Tropic of Cancer. e.g. Hawaii and Guam aren't covered, either.

It makes no provision for the size of the Executive Board, nor does it prevent the Chairman from being a member. Effectively, Trump would be entitled to name an EB comprised just of himself as the Chief Executive. The only thing within the non-executive members' power would be to leave.
