This image below is not the NYT Pitchbot. I sent a commet:

So nice for an aspirant for governor of Ohio in 2026 to get an early Op-Ed.

Pro tip: Next time don’t use a word (Groyperism) that will cause 99.9% of readers to scurry to Wikipedia. There’s inside-the-beltway and far inside GOP HQ in DC.

How medical care for veterans will be worse in 2026. Every ordinary person must do their part to fund tax cuts for the very rich.

Unlike Biden who revered military service in memory of his deceased son Beau, Trump craps on the military except during boat kills and regime change

Trump’s right hand yesterday upon receiving the FIFA peace prize. Take your pick 1) IV injections against dementia, or 2) IV injections against congestive heart failure.

In the photo serious edema looks present, all but obscuring his knuckles and wrist. His ankles have similarly vanished, CVI.

The NYT lied about birthright citizenship being rare among developed countries. The misinformation was in their breaking story on SCOTUS reviewing the 14th amendment at Trump’s request.

Birthright citizenship is common in the New World when nations overthrew colonial rule. DOJ sent NYT a bad FAX.

A few days ago the NYT ran an analysis piece sane-washing Trump’s pardoning of a cocaine drug lord and his open sea boat killings. The piece called the two policies ´contradictory’.

That analysis piece was widely ridiculed.

Today the NYT prints a belated apology: two news stories and a photo

From the NYT, the DC NG shooter was a member of a CIA Afghan unit which was named as a death-squad by human rights organizations. He may be suffering from guilt+PTSD for what he did to other Afghan nationals.

Trump has called him an animal. We must amend that: he is our CIA-trained animal.

The NYT has decided that no matter what happens in Geneva with the US-Europe-Ukraine negotiations it doesn’t matter. Putin wins regardless. It’s as if the NYT coverage of the Geneva talks was being curated in Moscow.

Note that the NYT thinks Europe and Ukraine are ´struggling’ but not Rubio.

The NYT is divided about whether Mamdani’s victory has divided the Democrats. So they published simultaneously two adjacent stories taking opposite positions
November 9, 2025 at 8:02 PM
The candidate who the NYT said did not belong on the Democratic primary ballot in June has done OK in November
November 5, 2025 at 3:15 AM
Cuomo put out a new post saying that NYC residents should be afraid of what Trump will do if Mamdani is elected. So they should vote for Cuomo whom Trump endorsed.

The UK paper the Guardian had taken note that Mamdani is not intimidated by Trump
November 4, 2025 at 7:16 PM
Today the NYT runs a ‘concern trolling’ story about Mamdani, i.e. ostensibly favorable but intended to be dissuasive. At the same time it runs a story seeming to admire Cuomo for his spunk.

I hate spunk (fond memories of Ed Asner) as well as Cuomo’s escalating Islamophobia in these final days.
November 2, 2025 at 11:18 PM
If only Trump would come out in public to endorse Cuomo then Cuomo would have an easier time attracting Republican votes while pretending that he is still a Democrat.

From the NYT today

Double cheeseburgers are back in the food pyramid. No, this headline is not the The Onion. It is real news, from the bizzaro government of the United States

Cuomo picked Adams’s (photo from UK paper The Guardian). From that paper about last night’s debate:

When Cuomo said ‘After I left office’ Sliwa quipped ´You didn’t leave. You fled from being impeached.’ Big applause.

Sliwa and Mamdani categorically rejected the indicted felon’s endorsement.

How to state that Trump is lying without using the word lying?

A tried-and-true media tactic is to declare that Trump’s words don’t match facts. A NYT euphemism is ‘Trump strayed from the facts’. This morning we have an example of the WaPo version. Credit to them for reporting the facts at least.
October 20, 2025 at 1:44 PM
Looks like it’s never too late for Cuomo to engage in Islamophobia, second hand at best. The idea that Mamdani holds anti-gay views is preposterous.

This would be like blaming Cuomo because some of his Catholic backers don’t believe in divorce or a woman’s right to choose.

Sorry say this but the NYT has decided the size of the protest crowds today is not so important. True, the crowds may be the largest nationwide demonstrations in US history but the NYT is not going to bother with that.

Besides, Trump is suing NYT for $15 billion. Must follow lawyers’s advice.

There is no doubt that Hamas tortured and brutally treated hostages in the past 2 years in Gaza. Likewise there is no doubt that Israel did the same thing to Gaza Palestinians taken prisoner.

A story in the UK paper The Guardian documents the Israeli atrocities. The US press shies away from this.

Homan worked the small con. Treasury Secretary Bessent works the big con. ´Behind every great fortune is a great crime’ said (more verbosely) by Honoré Balzac.

Balzac would have been stunned by the crimes of the Trump administration. No one cries for Argentina on the right side of this deal.

Trump is running a White House meeting on ´Antifa Violence’. I am fed up with Trump’s lies and the media’s reluctance to call Trump out on them.

The reader comment below to the WaPo and the NYT exposes Antifa smears and how they are similar to but legally very different from McCarthy smears.
October 8, 2025 at 8:50 PM
Reality intrudes on the NYT today.

When Adams first announced his withdrawal the story in the NYT was that Adams ‘upends’ the mayor’s race. They said upends for a candidate in 4th place with mid-single digit polling numbers.

That’s not reporting, that’s fantasizing. Or showing your true colors.
October 8, 2025 at 12:04 AM
The UK Guardian has gone front page where the US press fears to tread. However, don’t trust the Guardian. They recently accused JD Vance of lying when he claimed that the Democrats want to give free healthcare to illegals. No US press outlet has front-paged that either, 😥
October 5, 2025 at 4:53 PM
More Mamdani fear-mongering by the political pundits. As proof, just look at his parents, just the kind who would raise a kid with no respect for education nor culture. Actually no, not in a million years.
October 4, 2025 at 10:04 PM
This is a news story today in the UK paper the Guardian. Yesterday CBS news allowed Vance to repeat this lie almost unchallenged on its CBS Morning program. Today this program interviews Mike Johnson who has made the same false claim.
Will the CBS interviewer challenge Johnson on his lie?

I was this graphic of Hegseth and Trump on a blog. If true it seems like the generals have gone nuclear on their two asses
