all the anti-AI folks going "we should ban LLMs but also invest in economic opportunities for human creators" will never invest in the human creators. they might delay the advancement of AI, but they absolutely won't help anyone. they will do nothing but bring misery for a false sense of agency
the thing about people who say we should do x thing instead of y thing is that they never do x thing. sometimes they stop y thing but x thing never happens.
