I pet-sat my neighbors border collie-chow chow mix as a kid. Beautiful dog, very sweet, super smart, and terribly stubborn. Swore me off ‘independent‘ dogs for sure! Of course I tortured myself by getting a corgi but post-adolescence he’s the BEST BOY (after many classes & hundreds hrs of training)

I’m really hoping someone can figure out feline tooth resorption. My childhood soul cat had it, and I just found out my current cat does too. So painful for them and expensive for owners

My DSH is being sequenced by Darwin’s Ark right now. Even though they’re unlikely to tell me much of interest, I appreciate that they are doing science with it 🧪 🧬

We have the opposite which is even more infuriating for buyers- realtors list houses low and then they go way over asking. My dad just bought a house for 333k that was listed for 229k. Comps were at least 300k

I had it 9 years ago (age 30) and my vision is good. However, I have a very slight astigmatism now, small enough that they wouldn’t correct with glasses, but I still notice. My best vision was with contacts but had to stop wearing them in my 20s due to severe dry eye

Best wishes for a quick and full recovery! My cat came home from dental surgery on opiates and was FASCINATED by moving his water bowl to see the water slosh. He was so stoned
