Blindness lowers hit chance and prevents seeing (obviously), but also prevents reading scrolls. You can still detect monsters if you have telepathy or something. I think light/dark resist prevents blind from those attacks, but there's also blind resist.

MGSV lets you blind nightvision guys with flashlights. I know a lot of *bands do that with light spells. Haven't seen one where infra/darkvision creatures are hindered by normal light though

AFAIK there's only a windows build and the code is really janky. The way that different skills and feats translate from D&D to roguelike gameplay is neat.

I like the XP system in Incursion because it makes playing a rogue like a rogue viable. You get the full XP for any monsters generated at levelgen that remain unaware of you when you reach the next floor if you've explored something like 80% of the map.
