The thing I love about experiencing and interpreting art is that your experience & interpretation are yours alone. I’m sure the folks who talk shit about SHf have reasons to dislike it, but idgaf what they are. I thoroughly enjoyed getting all endings and growing my interpretation of its themes.

What an incredible flex it must have been for the final strip of a massive comic to feature so much negative space. In a newspaper of the day, every square inch of the page was valuable! And here, Watterson used it to illustrate the potential of new beginnings. What a lovely ending!
