Developing countries, especially China, led the clean energy charge, whilst the US and EU were more reliant on fossil fuels to meet increases in electricity demand.

So we need to keep pushing to accelerate the rollout of renewables in the UK – at the pace required by the climate emergency.

Through CEC, our joint venture with @bettersocietycapital.com, we’re aiming to help more communities build their own clean energy infrastructure or take part in larger local schemes. £20 million will come from Fair Play Clean Energy, with BSC providing matched funding.

Community Energy Catalyst has made its first investment in Kilbirnie wind project📢
