This was a map quirk on my end. I originally had France added to countries with SRBMs (mistake) and then noticed it after everything was done. I edited France out but forgot about French Guyana.

It is surprising to me that the Ukrainians haven't dug in along the Svatove-Kreminna line of cities when the Russians started digging in around early 2023. The Russians have always had a heavy presence in this area despite the front barely moving for like 3 years.

People talk about space so much today but space assets started playing a major role in naval warfare long before the missile age kicked off. The first electronic intelligence satellites for early warning and cataloging enemy vessels were launched in the 60s before the US got ASHMs like Harpoon.

Then read more theory. It is funny that even when naval warfare is depicted it is usually always heavily gun focused. This is something that stopped being all that relevant in terms of engaging the enemy and killing him quickly after the aircraft carrier was created.
