INTRODUCTION
The abstract highlighted the starting point for this Discussion, the least of which is the decision to omit the Americas from the historical search for Human Evolutionary Origins. The primacy of this reasoning is contained in then-leading authority Ales Hrdlička ’s overriding rejection.

I address the ongoing archaeological debate central to the physical evidence related to the ancient Pleistocene presence of Homo sapiens within the Americas.
