the diesel wouldn’t slow down or stop but instead smash straight through some of the cattle vans and keeps going completely ignoring the chaos.

this would lead to a passenger train running late and for another engine to take it. but the worst off all is when the diesel as usual would pass a red signal warning him that another engine pulling empty cattle van was crossing onto the mainline

and when he was told to pull a passenger train he refused saying: i refuse to take noisy, smelly, disgusting passengers while pulling old, useless, and annoying coaches. the buses can damn well have them.

sir topham hatt tried everything to get him to leave, but it was no use. after that things only got worse, the diesel would speed down the line at high speeds with goods trains, he would refuse to help anyone at all even if he was the only one available.

but the diesel would always reply that the engines should know to stay out of his way and that he is has higher priority over everyone even the express. once the station upgrade was finished sir topham hatt told the engine he could go home only for the diesel to refuse

so he set the diesel off to work bring supplies from the mainland. unfortunately this was a mistake. the diesel would purposely pass red signals, over take the express, and wouldn’t stop for anyone or anything. the fat controller would scold him

he found it’s wasn’t a steam engine, it was a csx diesel, when topham asked why he was here the diesel replied: the original engine fell into the sea when he arrived, goin to fast is what i was told. sir topham hatt was disappointed but could do anything now

no one was hurt but murdoch was very damaged and it would take months to repair him, so he ordered another engine from america to help, he had purchased a large steam engine, but when the ship that was carrying his engine arrived

sir topham hatt wanted to upgrade knapford station so it could accommodate more passengers so he had murdoch bring building supplies from the mainland to sodor, but as murdoch was passing maron a points failure made him derail and crash into a goods train heading the other way.
