I think ppl of every stripe have forgotten just how intricately tied together politics and the Olympics have always been, especially in 🇺🇸. 1936 Berlin & Jessie Owens; 1968 Mexico City; 1980 Miracle On Ice, etc. I cheer for the ATHLETES bc THEY never fail to represent 🇺🇸 w/class.
