In Myanmar 🇲🇲 Burmese rebel drone strikes targeted the Tanintharyi regional government office, ministers and officer's residences, and SAC Battalion 8 in Dawei on Dec 31. Resistance groups claimed precise hits, but 2 drones were lost due to weather. Casualties on the army side remain unknown.

Ukraine 🇺🇦 On Christmas, Lviv police rescued a freezing hawk with a broken wing and injured leg. After warming it, they took it to vets. The bird won't survive in the wild with a broken wing, so it will soon be sent to live at a local zoo.
