My documentary NOW, IRVING RAPPER recently added Illeana Douglas and Foster Hirsch, to a “cast” that includes Maltin, Jaglom, Alan K. Rode, WB’s George Feltenstein, David Del Valle, Nathaniel Thompson, and others.

Visited director Irving Rapper’s grave today, placed a rock on the headstone, and recited a Jewish remembrance prayer. Irving is buried next to his sister Hannah in Queens. The rock was picked from near his old home in Hollywood and transported cross-country for the occasion.

Sidney J. Furie had been ignored for too long, and I felt it my duty to set the record straight and give him his due. I wrote the first book on his life and career, and produced this tribute box set from Imprint. Who’s good for one classic? This guy’s been good for a number of them!
