And also would have advised the White House staff and counsel that such functions go beyond solely advising and assisting the President and could imperil their unique status of not being subject to the FOIA.

It seems to be from the middle of the incident, posted by someone seats down from the "victim" who also has the same last name and trains on DK. I also don't hear the "full government name" that is his excuse (which has a stretch a racist might think is cleverly close to a word he wants to say).

I think it's worth noting that government name has a stretch starting with 'N' that I can see a racist thinks sounds a lot like a word they want to use and think they can get away with it with selective enunciation

It may not be related but the timing of the announcement makes Friday's sudden departure of DOI's confirmed Assistant Secretary responsible for offshore all the more intriguing

Oh Jeffrey Bossert Clark. I especially like the part where he says the good cause exception is triggered where a reg is facially unlawful, but later directs agencies to rescind without notice merely "where the agency has determined that the best interpretation is that the regulation is unlawful."

It shouldn't be overlooked your courageousness in publishing. Those that follow you may take it for granted given your body of work, and you're obviously totally correct I doing so, but nonetheless amidst this weaponization and buffoonery....it is inspiring.
