Because he doesn’t have papers he is leaving to not come back. He seemed in shock and all I could do was be kind. The strength it takes to work hard manual labor -alone- we must fix our system. No one should have to make any of the choices he has.

And yes- I am angry. I hate the pain I am witnessing in the world and am born with the same righteous anger gene at injustice. However I am leaning in love & joy & yoga as much as I can because that does more than hate. My friends and I are raising money for the food bank. We do what we can. (End!)

I believe in a future of free healthcare for all and where we only need to work one job and can buy a house. I believe in a future where people with brown skin aren’t scared to leave their house and we welcome immigrants like our ancestors were welcomed not so long ago. If that’s left than awesome.

I think Democratic Socialism has the most promise for our people. Both main parties have made mistakes but only one is throwing Great Gatsby parties, hunts immigrants, strips the poor of the last healthcare subsidies &food support and is led by a convicted sexual offender. So yes, I am leaning left-

I am working two jobs and barely making it as a single person - it’s not supposed to be this way. The opportunities you and dad had in your 40s are not the same for me- life is harder for everyone. I don’t want to just blame political parties. (3)

Post WWII the US economy boomed,the wealthy paid taxes. Regular families could survive on 1 income &buy a house. Today the wealthy don’t pay taxes, we have less gov support & most people work multiple jobs &can’t afford to buy homes that corporations are buying up & renting at inflated prices. (2)
