Game designer, forever DM, RPGphile, lover of musicals, painter of minis. Senior Creative Director on the Iron Man project at EA Motive. Opinions my own.
Pre-scheduled power outage in my town tonight. Not good news for the contents of my fridge, but the PERFECT excuse for candlelight reading of my beautiful new Dolmenwood books. :D

My hard copies of MCDM’s Draw Steel arrived this week. Gotta say I’m really pleased with the quality of the print and binding—good stuff!

Don’t worry, my dinner plans are well balanced, with both food groups represented.

And that’s a wrap on “Against the Ogre Horde,” probably the last of my Hero Quest mini painting. It’s been fun. :)

Finally, the two Druids and their wolf companion. This concludes the “Against the Against the Ogre Horde” HQ expansion.

My nostalgiafest continues, now by hunting down some classic issues of CGW.

Gotta love this issue, which features both the 1st gold box game and an interview with @richardgarriott.bsky.social. :)

AI may end up destroying our economy, our way of life, or perhaps humanity as a whole.

But I must admit it’s really good for quickly making nice-looking handouts for D&D that roughly match what you had in mind.

Whew. I’ve finally beaten Daggerfall.

Returning to Tamriel via the Unity version nearly *30 years* after I played the original game has been quite an experience. I don’t think I even made it halfway through the main story as a kid.

As always, Christmas time means digging for buried treasure at my folks’ place. Now to get an HDMI adapter…
