Celtic, curry, golf. 1st ground season book in 1988 was £50 (yes it was a book where you didn't know the ticket number until the day). Shareholder. Exiled in Warrington
Love this picture, not just because I'm in it, but it shows someone I know just a few rows in front of me but on the day I had no idea they were there

Was at that, I know my brother has the programme in his garage. I'm sure we cheered when China scored?

We used to be at the opposite end a few years before this. There used to be running battles going in to the "shed"

That's brilliant. I remember the game vividly. Big Mick McCarthy got sent off early. Ex celt John Colquhoon scored a screamer and it was absolutely bouncing when we equalised. Remember trouble after the game.

What a game for your first one. You probably expected every game to be like that!

Remember it well. Still got the programme somewhere in a box. Met Rambo on my golf course. He was playing in a sky sports comp. They were all so slow so I chatted with him on most tees. It was the day James McFadden scored the wonder goal v france

Was at my normal barrier at No1. Got in very early. Knew one of the polis working that day. He said they stopped counting at 80K. Been in a few crushes in my time but that was something else

It was incredible, especially if you were wee althoughby 85 I was big enough. The steps were all crumbling. My brother broke his ankle in the 88 semi when we were right behind the goal. Polis wouldn't let me go with him when he was carried out

I don't think I paid to get in until I was 16. Always got a lift.

A few things I remember. Was a scamble for tickets as Hampden was partly closed for refurbishment. Was a cold dismal day. I probably went out and got drunk after the game

Brilliant that you saw a pre Lions game 🍀

Guessing it was this although we also drew 3-3 in the league cup a couple of years later. My big sister took me to this game. I remember we wore the black and green striped strip. 3 years earlier, I had sent a drawing of that strip to the the celtic view for a comp and never heard back

What year would it have been ?

Think that was my first "big" game. No segregation. Was in the away end, I think No 10, just beside the jungle. Wasn't allowed to go down to the wall. Had to sit on the barrier. My Dad always met his brothers in that spot. Never found out where they stood v the huns

Remember the game well as I had been out of action for a while and this was my first game back at the usual barrier at No1 in the celtic end
