As a huge Rush fan, this is awesome to hear. Rush's music is simply too good to not be out there getting played.

I'm under the impression that US bankruptcy laws are significantly more friendly to debtors than in Europe (and I would also guess Japan/Aus).

The rate of small business starts is also reflective of the culture in the US. Tons fail, but nobody begrudges you giving it the good college try.
