Got this blistering response today. I knew my observations might be unpopular to some. Unfortunately, Hailey doesn’t seem much like a professional open to productive dialogue. She only allows responses from those she follows.

We don’t NEED fast food lunches and $5 coffee to go, and Amazon deliveries. We don’t NEED streaming services, newest iphones and to buy new clothes every year. We certainly don’t NEED alcohol, etc. Many Americans still struggle because of poor choices.
We can make better choices too right?

2/2 I feel horribly for struggling families who do sacrifice and carefully budget, whose debts come from healthcare and childcare expenses, student loans and job loss… but I hate that we can never mention the self-inflicted pain. Sorry, but no single person making $100k should be having an issue.

1/1 This is very unpopular and I understand inflation is a result of bad policies, etc., but Americans are still voracious consumers compared to other nations. As a group, we crave too many unnecessary ‘things’, too much convenience, wear too much status.

We were able to buy a cute bungalow with a small yard, in a decent town, walking distance from a Philadelphia commuter train station, for $100k in 1990. My husband and I were 23 and 24. Special FHA loan, 5% down.

Well it’s not like Epstein could mail the dvd’s directly to Putin. How much do we think Epstein got for each? Maybe Putin even got a deal on a bundle.
