Quite a morning. Arrive 4am at Alaska Air check in desk at YVR 🇨🇦- our US visas have been revoked. We are advised to book a different route that avoids US transit.

Mayan Tulum Ruins. 592-1500AD. An ancient seaport with lighthouse and lookout. Surrounding Yucatán countryside is fairly rocky and barren. Mayans built walls at this site and filled it with fertile soil, restoring the encampment for sustainable crops. Brilliant!
