From 8/20/2011 to my nephew, then 10yo: "Here's my fishing / life advice ... Watch your line, tie a strong knot, retie when you get frayed, set the hook, keep your tip up, cut the line if it will save them, and let the ones you catch free to grow more. :-) Oh, and enjoy the big and small moments."
