I am hoping that parmesan, balsamic vinegar and the airfryer will compensate for the vagaries of memory, the absence of Maggi packet soup and possibly more.

There used to be a recipe on the back of the Maggi onion soup packet for a bake of bread, soup, cheese and egg that used to be tasty. Tonight I have improvised from memory but without the Maggi soup. Veg stock from scratch, caramelized onions and homemade bread. So very little resemblance, really.

I recall VFF protesting outside Clarke's parents' home while Jacinda was on holiday.

People who moan about voter apathy could maybe look at candidate breakdown. I took NPDC's mayor and councillor candidates and it worked out to:
75% men, 69% pakeha men and of those male candidates, about 75% appear to be older men, over the age of 60. That is a very specific demographic.

Feeling slightly irritated by a request for a photo to use in a book - that is okay. What is irritating is that they specified in advance that they are only willing to pay $50 which was the value of a photo about 15 years ago.

I didn’t look that closely. Our gardener finished his apprenticeship with us last year and I was just seeing how much has changed since then. Plenty has, and all of it would be disadvantageous to both him and us.
