The Fantastic Four: First Steps (2025)
🌕🌕🌑🌑🌑/🌕🌕🌕🌕🌕
I hadn't seen anything from the MCU in a very long time. I hoped to get at least a modicum of novelty after all that time, but it felt like the same generic Marvel movie. The best I can say is that the 60' aesthetics were brilliant.

Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia (Season 3, 2018)
🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑/🌕🌕🌕🌕🌕
The grand finale serves as a great brochure. It provides us with superb action sequences to reinforce a satisfying conclusion to the overaching plot of the series, even if you can catch the surprise turns from miles away.

What We Do in the Shadows (Season 3, 2021)
🌕🌕🌕🌕🌗/🌕🌕🌕🌕🌕
This series keeps getting more unhinged and hilarious with each season. Not only the main cast, even secondary characters, like the guide of the council, do an excellent job of being both absurd and brilliant at the same time.

Emily in Paris (Season 1, 2020)
🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑/🌕🌕🌕🌕🌕
I didn't expect to love this series so much and so quickly, but this is a fantastic first season. The main and recurring characters are hilarious in their own peculiar way, and the parody of the Parisian stereotypes feels better than usual

Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia (Season 2, 2018)
🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑/🌕🌕🌕🌕🌕
Judging this one by the more than obvious fact that this is only half a season, I like it. The action sequences and character development are lovely to watch, and the series is starting to build towards its great finale.

Dune: Part Two (2024)
🌕🌕🌕🌗🌑/🌕🌕🌕🌕🌕
The movie adaptation of the first Dune book comes to an end. In terms of aesthetics, this second half excels in those crucial plot points where epicness is required. It ultimately does carry over some of its first half's slow pacing, though.

Bridgerton (Season 3, 2024)
🌕🌕🌕🌕🌗/🌕🌕🌕🌕🌕
A heavy-packed content season with the expected level of finesse, and one very enjoyable from start to close. Some long-standing plots come to a really satisfying end, and some others receive juicy updates for the soon-to-release new season.

Hazbin Hotel (Season 2, 2025)
🌕🌕🌕🌕🌗/🌕🌕🌕🌕🌕
Even if the season started slow, when it caught momentum, it turned into a real blast. The songs experienced a similar climb, with those from mid-to-end episodes blossoming into real bangers. All in all, a nice follow-up to the first one.

Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia (Season 1, 2016)
🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑/🌕🌕🌕🌕🌕
Despite a slow beginning, the series builds to a thrilling finale. Not only that, but the animation is first-rate and only gets better with each new chapter. Additionally, the main cast is wonderful, so that's a neat bonus.

Dune: Part One (2021)
🌕🌕🌕🌗🌑/🌕🌕🌕🌕🌕
Visually, this film lives up to the expectations set by its source material. But since it's just half of the stuff mentioned earlier, the pacing is painfully slow, and it concludes just when all the buildup is about to end.

Honkai: Star Rail (Amphoreus, 2025)
🌕🌕🌕🌕🌗/🌕🌕🌕🌕🌕
Going from least to most, this season of our favorite space gacha has ended on a truly high note. The season's plot has ended wonderfully, the lore keeps expanding in a good way, and the characters have won their place in our hearts.

The Otherwere Post (2025)
🌕🌕🌕🌗🌑/🌕🌕🌕🌕🌕
I truly enjoyed this one. The setting, the world, and its magic system, as depicted, are genuinely fascinating and leave you eager to delve more into them. The way in which the main mystery is revealed is captivating enough to keep you reading.

Bridgerton (Season 2, 2022)
🌕🌕🌕🌕🌗/🌕🌕🌕🌕🌕
This season follows on the heels of the outstanding first season. The chemistry between the main leads is more obvious and engaging here, however. And, of course, the stellar cast of characters remains, making this a most enjoyable show.

Addams Family Values (1993)
🌕🌕🌕🌑🌑/🌕🌕🌕🌕🌕
The second choice for Halloween was obvious. However, compared to the first one, this sequel has aged a bit worse. It's still very quirky and funny, and the cast does an excellent job still. At the end, however, it feels a little repetitive.

The Addams Family (1991)
🌕🌕🌕🌗🌑/🌕🌕🌕🌕🌕
This year's Halloween movie is a classic that has aged better than expected. Julia and Huston's portrayals of Gomez and Morticia are still as quirky and funny as ever. And, even after so many years, the Mamushka scene remains bizarrely iconic.

Gilmore Girls (Season 4, 2003)
🌕🌕🌕🌕🌗/🌕🌕🌕🌕🌕
Rory starts university, and things do surely happen! All the main cast members are going through plenty of significant changes this season, and it engages you enough to make you wonder how many of these new developments will take shape.
