Good youth coaches are treasures. Bad youth coaches are a life long hazard.

I’ve got six kids, 5 of whom are active in sports. If you don’t think a coach can have a lasting impact on kids, you’re just plain wrong. If you’re coaching to relive the glory days, you’re doing it wrong. It’s a time to give back and humble yourself.

Well… that didn’t take long. 

#4 threw up in class. Because he was trying to see how many goldfish he could fit in his mouth. It was a bet with another kid. He “won.” Should I be proud that he won or just shake my head. Maybe both?
