Doing a marriage green card is awkward because you have to go up to family & friends and be like "the government wants to know what YOU think about me and Growlers relationship" then you get signed legal letter from said person that are hella mushy and like "these boys are super gay AND in love 🤮"

Burn out doesn't clear up in a day or two. You'll think you've dealt with it and then you'll feel something else adjust. Take what time you've prepped for yourself slow, don't pack it full of stuff that just replaces the work load. Enjoy your time off, let yourself be bored occasionally and unwind

If it is a hotel policy for all events I can't see how they would keep any conventions, not just the furries but all, I've been to some big room parties (albeit much chiller) for work conventions. Or even just like... Travelling with groups of folks. It feels like the hotel is trying to force a move

Most likely because there are constant issues from attendees that are happening and affecting their operations/insurance/reputation/w.e. I doubt the hotel is clamping down for the sole reason they're anti-fun. It's most likely the damage in rooms, puking in hallways, nangs left after check out, etc

I would assume this policy is driven by history. I doubt that this is a policy that applies to every event that happens at the hotel now (I could be wrong). I don't fault FC at all, I agree they are at the whim of the hotels policies but the hotel implemented it for a reason.

This Tumblr user summarizes something I've been feeling/doing lately. Against everything going on, it somehow feels helpful.

Small talk isn't to get to know a person. It's just a greeting to affirm you're buddies in the universe. I am motivated by wanting the other person to know I am friendly, so I have gotten pretty decent at small tall when I used to hate it.
