Happy Monday! Just about a week or so and Maria and I will be heading further south. The Everglades await. I'm through with the mental anguish of dealing with what seemed to be an endless list of "To-Do's" and am grateful to my parents for the mooch docking down here in the sunshine.

Despite the looming clouds, casting shadow, doubt and a surreal feeling of a sinister act, things only get better. This picture I snapped is a symbol that no matter what the world throws at you, the clouds will move on and you're left with light. What you do with that light matters.

Maria and I made it to the sunshine! Yay! Taking a break from travel for a few weeks (working on much needed projects on the Mothership, videos to come soon) and then heading to find the Skunkape? For now just visiting with two very important people in our lives, my mom and dad, and catching up.

This is what life is about, right here. Yes, there are so many other people and events we Love in our life, almost too hard at times. But to be travelling, and have goals, and still hang onto that deep feeling of attachment to those around us, is priceless.

A little over four years ago we left michigan to replace our 1995 Airstream with a new class A "home" as we were now "houseless". I've been documenting the entire process and how we became full time RVers on my blog every Tuesday if you'd like to read and/or have an interest in the lifestyle.

Happy Monday! In just 14 more days we will be saying good-bye to good friends, connections and a second summer in the DMV. There's always a sense of excitement mixed with nervousness, before travel, but ultimately a deep love for adventure is always prevalent. I hope you're all doing well!

I've spent two summers in Maryland. Seen the Chesapeake Bay, eaten crab cakes, had a "Maryland" Pizza from Ledos and a delicious huge Reuben from Parkway Deli in Silver Spring. After this repair of the Transmission Cooler, I'll be moving on to hunt down the Skunkape in the Everglades.

I wrote this dystopian tale of love, loss, and spiders that takes place in Stevats. One Last Breath captures a love story mixed with pure horror of control and rules of a tyrannical government that implements these beings called Jacks, who enforce the law with death.
