The fight is real, not symbolic. Recognizing that is important, and reducing all of this to the politics doesn’t help the millions of people who will be affected as a result of their capitulation. Seems like they are hell bent on proving they are, in fact, out of touch.

Also, allowing the worst to win elections is stupid. No one ever agrees with a candidate 100%. Voting for the least worst candidate is just how it shakes out sometimes. Go get ‘em in the next election. Always work to improve things.

Seems like if you withhold your vote the question is “ok, then what did you do?” Because if you did nothing to influence your senators or congresscritter it’s doubly stupid to not vote.

Doesn’t help when media continuously claim Democrats are somehow outrageously liberal while at the same time constantly helping to normalize the fascism of the Republican Party. That’s a big reason why the “too conservative” numbers for the Republicans has barely moved.

First, there are poles all over the country with no wires connected to them so if that were true it wouldn’t be unusual.
Second, if you actually look at the pic and are not blind, there are wires connected to it.
