Every time I watch ALIEN I am transfixed thinking to myself "there's no way they've left themselves enough room to get the third horizontal line in that E without it looking like a squashed-in mess!" but no, every single time there it is, and it's beautiful. Most tense part of the movie tbh.

Ah ok, ty. ICO have now said (abbrev.): "Earlier this year we announced an investigation into how Imgur uses children’s information and its approach to age assurance. One of my favourite passive aggressive things @timegentleman.bsky.social taught me is when someone asks you something in an email thread that you've already told them, you copy-paste the exact text from the earlier email mid-sentence and make it purple so it's clear it's been pasted. Bliss.

I think of the dead/dry/pupal period as being between GF and S&M S1 (followed up quickly by Blackwell, Nelly Cootalot and *ahem* BTDT etc). When they went from being a thriving AAA genre to a thriving indie genre. The dead decade was mainly failed attempts to hang onto the AAA status.

This is a weird tonal shift from the series, it feels more like Caravan Of Courage. Which is fine I guess, Star Wars can be different things, but it's a bit odd to do it within a single branch of it. It's like if Skeleton Crew S2 decided it wanted to be Andor.
