Okay I had to screengrab it and import it into Preview (cruddy Mac .jpg/.gif/.png viewer) and do a mild edit, but it's based on this, something I had once in T-shirt form from a company called Northern Sun Merchandising back in the Bush 41 years when I was in college:

It's roughly from the late 1980s-early 1990s. I had a T-shirt with this slogan when I was a student--and I wasn't the only one. It was an anti-Bush 41 thing.

Point three: You might have to have difficult conversations with someone who's set in their ways, and already has, perhaps unsavoury, preconceived notions about you.
Third, building a big enough coalition means moving beyond self-selecting activists to engage people across their differences. Large demonstrations are essential for energizing the base, but they can also alienate the very people those movements need to persuade. This is where organizing becomes crucial. Protesting with like-minded people feels really good, but organizing means taking the risk of having hard conversations with people. These conversations build the kind of trust that can’t be established with a megaphone. Inclusive coalitions are also not just about reach; research shows that diverse teams create better strategies too.

Second, when movements define themselves solely by what they’re against — in the left’s case, Trump — they create a hollow choice: more Trump or a return to the pre-Trump status quo that nobody actually wants. But look at campaigns like Zohran Mamdani’s. Instead of making Trump the centerpiece, his campaign rallies people around concrete proposals: free buses, universal child care, tenant protections. He listened to what working-class New Yorkers actually need and translated those needs into a vision people could fight for, not against.

Point one. And hello Oklahoma, one of those states with a GOP superdupermajority (executive and legislative):
First, organizers need to focus on a place where a considerable amount of power is built and wielded: the states. The right understood this long before the left did. Republicans now hold governing trifectas in 23 states and need just 11 more to convene a constitutional convention, a possibility with generational implications. As political scientist Jacob Grumbach has shown, state governments have become the real battlegrounds. That’s where the organizing frontier lies.

We have a beautiful library building in Norman, OK. Sadly it's been closed for a few years because ... black mould! The city has been going round and round with the contractor. Cool building, sad situation.
Norman (OK) Central Public Library, which has been closed for a few years after the discovery of black mould ... the city has been in litigation with contractors and other parties over mould remediation. The library remains closed. There's another branch library in town but this is the cool one.

I don't like to get out the block hammer but if I am aware that something NOT FACTUAL is going around--especially if it's about something horrible like the Chicago raids--I WILL call it out.
A response to me from an account I hated to block, but I just did: "Are you not aware of the recent raids in Chicago where children were zip tied? Dragged out of their homes and out of the arms of their parents and zip tied? Wake up. Keep up with actual current events please." My response 1: "Excuse me I am QUITE aware of what happened in Chicago. Did you not read the repost of that video which I referenced with "has nothing to do with recent horrifying events in Chicago?" My response 2: "I don't know who you think you're talking to but I don't care for the tone. Unfollow me if you're so inclined, but I will not have my level of being informed impugned. Also, on my feed I will post what I wish because it's my damn feed."

Oklahoma’s government schools have been hijacked by the far left. I don’t call them public schools. I call them what they are -- Government Schools. Over the last 25 years, Oklahoma taxpayers have injected massive amounts of cash into government schools. Yet the outcomes keep getting worse. 80% of students in government schools today can not read at grade level. That is shameful. Oklahoma’s education problems can be traced to two glaring issues: Financial mismanagement and left-wing School Boards. First, a recent audit of Tulsa Public Schools uncovered widespread fraud, waste, and abuse. Instead of teaching our kids, school administrators are squandering our tax money on radical DEI programs. To date, not one administrator has ever been held accountable. This scandal was uncovered in just one school district. We can only imagine what is happening in our 500+ other school districts. Fraud and DEI nonsense will end on my watch. Second, we must move School Board election dates to align with national and statewide general elections. President Trump won every county in Oklahoma in the last three Presidential elections. So how do we have radical leftists sitting on our School Boards and working in our schools? It’s because School Board elections are held on arbitrary dates throughout the year that fly under the radar of most voters. The elections are deliberately designed to suppress the conservative vote. This scheme will end on my watch.

I mean, get a load of this White Christian Nationalist horse-shite from Mike Mazzei (from his campaign website). We just got rid of Ryan Walters, but this guy is ready to fight the culture wars or whatever in his stead. Mazzei is a former State Senator and former official in Stitt's administration.
We Oklahomans are under daily attack by a woke mob of radical liberal social engineers, big government bureaucrats from Washington, and hard-left activists who want to end Oklahoma as we know it. Their anti-Oklahoma world is a bizarre, woke place where God is chiseled from our monuments, American history is erased from the classroom, pronouns replace your name, speech codes replace free speech, and the American flag is banned for display because it offends someone. In the woke, anti-Oklahoma world, they can’t define what a woman is, they allow men to play in women’s sports – which denies women a fair chance to win an open competition or earn a life-changing scholarship – and they want young women to have the right to get an abortion without their parent’s consent, even though that same young woman needs a permission slip from their parents to go on a school field trip. The radical woke mob promotes divisive critical race theory, imposing the flawed doctrine of diversity, equity, and inclusion, which destroys individual liberty and merit, pushing indoctrination instead of education. I’ll change DEI into DIE and give it a proper funeral. We support President Trump’s goal to eliminate federal spending on radical woke projects embedded in our overgrown bureaucracies. As governor, one of my very first executive orders will be to reject federal dollars tied to woke mandates.

A taste:
This dark period is a reminder that liberal democracy isn’t supposed to be easy. Free speech means you have to tolerate speech you abhor, just as free elections means that sometimes the other side will win. You can claim a commitment to democratic principles, but it’s when you have power that your commitment is tested. With just a few narrow exceptions, conservatives are failing that test.
