Very lucky to receive my copy of Quatermass 2 and it is magnificent. Another great documentary from @tobyhadoke.bsky.social where we learn Donlevy wore a toupee. Could thus be the bit when it flew off? #Quatermass2

Oh yeah, and I suppose I should plug my book about Kneale’s The Quatermass Experiment : currently on offer in the latest edition of the Radio Times. I’m very proud of it: lots of work went into it and it was a labour of love. Everything you need to know & some gorgeous photos.

Great Michael Bryant story: when in Wind in the Willows at the National the actors were sent away to study the movement of the creatures they were playing & report back. He told his colleagues at the next rehearsal “it seems that badgers move very much like the actor Michael Bryant.”
