MURKOWSKI comes out against Hegseth for DOD, first GOP opponent. "The leader of the Department of Defense must demonstrate and model the standards of behavior and character we expect of all servicemembers, and Mr. Hegseth’s nomination to the role poses significant concerns that I cannot overlook."

A Capitol Police Officer died on Jan 6. Four more died by suicide within 6 months of the riot. 140 officers were assaulted. It has cost taxpayers payers $2,881,360.20 to date.
