I'm a lay person with an interest in books and history. I have a small YouTube channel called Time Travel Reads.
@hannahsbooks.bsky.social Sorry to ask. Say several founders could've spent the last 5 years in our century. I think they'd recognize Trump as a demagogue who could end what they'd built. Despite that, given a choice btw a white man and a WOC, would they endorse him? I'm losing my love of history.

Also, if I get 1775 by Kevin Phillips, will reading 1774 by Mary Beth Norton first feel like overkill or a good introduction?

I'm thinking of buying 1774: The Long Year of Revolution by Mary Beth Norton. Does it still hold up? Thanks.

Let me introduce myself. I'm Melissa. You might know me from the other place as MelisFS. I follow historians to learn and get book recommendations. Sometimes I read those books and feature them on BookTube (the book corner of YouTube).
