I was an eye witness to USAID in action in 2009. Workers were loading ACDI/VOCA ground nuts from a warehouse in Kitgum, Uganda outside an (IDP) camp. The Acholi people were recovering in the aftermath of the LRA conflict which saw an estimated 20,000 children abducted by Joseph Kony.
