Monday ice update - #Arctic sea ice extent is currently the *lowest* on record (JAXA data)

• about 640,000 km² below the 2010s mean
• about 1,220,000 km² below the 2000s mean
• about 1,780,000 km² below the 1990s mean
• about 2,140,000 km² below the 1980s mean

Noordzeelanden willen tegelijkertijd grote aantallen windparken op zee aanleggen. Maar volgens de sector die daarvoor aan de lat staat is het hoogst onwaarschijnlijk dat die planning gehaald wordt.

Ik begon ooit met mijn betrokkenheid bij het klimaat en kwam zo terecht in de energietransitie. Het is goed om weer stil te staan bij waar ik het uiteindelijk voor doe.
