I want to do something like `release patch|minor` on the `1.x` branch, and have it:

- detect the current 1.n.n tag and bump it to 1.n.n+1, push, create release
- merge 1.x into 2.x
- if no conflicts, detect the current 2.n.n tag and bump it to 2.n.n+1, push, create release

When the guy picks them up, he should be running his hand over a table of potential instruments, as if he's a torturer selecting his next tool, eventually landing on the castanets.

Suppose I haven't watched it since the first season…
Should I just jump into this one?

Yup. I could live with tagging if they had a spot for it, but I can’t handle metadata like that just floating around as text.

I'm a note-app freak, and violently swing between complex Obsidian/Logseq setups until I forget how they work and then run back to Bear.app.

Although, just yesterday I was thinking "ya know, maybe I should try  Notes again…maybe I don't need to think in Markdown all the time"
Bear
Bear is a beautiful, powerfully simple Markdown note taking app to capture, write, and organize your life.

If you're wondering if I also added a voice control command to unlock with a spoken phrase, you bet your ASS I did.
